As a DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, driving service improvement through automation and innovation within the Cybersecurity domain. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining environments to support internal projects, automating workflows and processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain solutions that protect the company.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining environments for internal projects
  • Automating workflows and processes to keep systems up to date
  • Designing and implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Investigating and delivering innovation within the Cybersecurity team
  • Assisting with training, development, and mentoring of colleagues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Cybersecurity and IT teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong understanding of RedHat (RHEL) and IP networking
  • Proficiency in Ansible for automation tasks
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools like Jenkins
  • Troubleshooting skills for complex OS/networking configurations
  • ITIL compliant Change Management
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for automation
  • Understanding of Vulnerability and Change Management processes

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Windows Server OS and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali)with a focus on automation of everything (infrastructure, configuration, livecycle management)
  • Familiarity with databases like MSSQL and PostgreSQL
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Helm
  • Knowledge of: Containerization, Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes; GKE
  • Skills in implementing observability tools (e.g., Splunk)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
  • Experience in:
    • Service mesh: Istio
    • Monitoring: Application Dynamics
    • Logging: Splunk
    • Alerting: xMatters
    • Code: bash, Python, PowerShell
    • Secrets management: Hashicorp Vault
    • Artifact repository: Nexus
    • ITIL / Agile delivery experience: Jira, Service No
    • ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Oracle
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for effective collaboration
