IT Support Specialist – Atlassian Tools

As an IT Support Specialist – Atlassian Tools, you will be working for our client, a leading provider of infrastructure services for financial centers in Europe, supporting key systems that enable seamless information and financial flow between market participants. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and optimizing mission-critical Atlassian tools hosted on-premise, supporting thousands of users. This role focuses on ensuring platform stability, managing user requests, and contributing to the smooth operation of collaborative environments used across various business units.

Your main responsibilities: Provide technical support for Jira, Confluence, and Crowd in an on-premise environment

  • Administer and maintain Atlassian Data Center applications for large user bases
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, service disruptions, and plugin-related problems
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of Atlassian instances
  • Manage access, permissions, and user roles across Atlassian tools
  • Support Jira Service Management configurations and workflows
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement improvements and custom solutions
  • Monitor system performance and implement best practices for stability
  • Coordinate with infrastructure teams on VM and server management
  • Document technical procedures and user support guides

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Jira and Confluence Data Center (on-prem)
  • Proven experience administering Atlassian tools for large-scale environments (5k+ users)
  • Strong background in IT support and troubleshooting (2+ years)
  • Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence plugin administration
  • Familiarity with on-premise architecture including server management and restarts
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Good understanding of Linux environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
