As a Java Developer, you will have an opportunity to work on the latest technologies and solutions in the eCommerce area for our Client, who ranks among the top worldwide distributors of workplace supplies solutions to businesses – active in 42 countries on 4 continents with more than 1 mln customers. You will join the team creating the next-generation e-commerce platform that aims to provide a seamless end-to-end journey for customers. This e-commerce program will be piloted in France, Italy, and Sweden.

Your main responsibilities: Acting as a best-class Developer!

• Contributing to all stages of software development life cycle
• Designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency
• Analyzing user requirements to define business objectives
• Proposing changes to current Java infrastructure
• Envisioning system features and functionality
• Designing communication flows
• Designing API inbound and outbound for synchronous communication
• Defining and developing treatment executed by APIs
• Clarifying mapping between events and microservices (inbound or outbound)
• Working in an agile environment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience building large-scale software applications
• Hands-on experience with: Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, No SQL
• Unit Testing and Mocking frameworks experience
• Deep knowledge of SOA & Micro services, REST Services Development
• Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects
• Agile mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with GCP and Azure
