Senior IT Project Manager – Banking and Financial Services

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking, driving critical projects at the nexus of IT and business. You will oversee complex initiatives that shape the future of digital financial services, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet rigorous regulatory standards. This role offers a direct impact on transforming banking experiences and advancing your career in a highly dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Manage complex IT and business projects in accordance with established project management standards and best practices.
• Coordinate project teams and oversee the delivery of project activities ensuring timely execution.
• Manage project risks, changes, resources, stakeholders, and external suppliers effectively.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication across project teams and key stakeholders.
• Organize, lead, and moderate project status meetings.
• Prepare project status reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, quality, scope, and delivery milestones diligently.
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks, including under tight deadlines.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 6 years of experience managing projects at the intersection of IT and business.
• Proven track record delivering projects within the financial or banking sector.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and executive management.
• Expert knowledge of project management methodologies supported by relevant certifications or postgraduate education.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to work.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, with experience working with English-language documentation and meetings.
• Good command of Polish.
