As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution, specializing in investment and financial services.

Your main responsibilities: analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and delivering quality software products in a complex environment

• Supporting the application’s entire lifecycle, including operation and active participation in a self-organized DevOps team
• Identifying areas for improvement and driving change through to completion

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience with Java development
• Excellent Angular skills
• Understanding of Financial and Banking applications or related business experience
• Experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Proficiency in Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST)
• Familiarity with Agile development techniques (Test-Driven Development, spec by example, Scrum, Kanban)
• Expertise in databases using SQL
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team and with business stakeholders
• Self-starter mindset, thriving in a fast-paced agile development environment

• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• German language proficiency
• Degree with IT focus or an equivalent qualification
• OSGi skills
