Senior Java Full Stack Developer – Financial Services

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in global financial technology solutions, revolutionizing foreign exchange services for institutional clients. You will contribute to building resilient, scalable microservices and full stack applications that power FX Prime Brokerage, FX Hedging, and FX order management, driving digital transformation within the financial industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects at the forefront of fintech innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and full stack applications for FX services.
• Contribute to the migration of systems towards a microservices architecture with 100-150 microservices.
• Participate in agile development practices and deliver iterative improvements.
• Ensure software compliance with cybersecurity and internal controls, addressing vulnerabilities proactively.
• Automate testing and deployment processes as part of DevOps responsibilities.
• Monitor live systems and provide out-of-hours support when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with international teams across Guangzhou, Toronto, and London to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Support release management and deploy updates to production on a daily basis.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Java full stack engineer.
• Strong knowledge of microservices concepts, Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficiency with UI frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Degree in engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating clean, high-quality, and secure solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and strong communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Willingness to work from the Krakow office two days per week.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with server-side languages such as Node.js, Ruby, or Golang.
• Prior experience within financial services or investment banking.
