As a Senior Kubernetes DevOps Engineer – Workload Automation and CI/CD, you will be working for our client, a leading technology company focused on building cutting-edge automation platforms. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and operationalizing a PoC for an open-source workload automation platform, setting the stage for enterprise-scale deployment. Your main responsibilities:

  • Deliver the PoC of an open-source workload automation platform and support its transition into a scalable, production environment.
  • Build and maintain containerized platforms and services on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design, implement, and operate automation and orchestration workflows, such as workload scheduling and data processing pipelines.
  • Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation to streamline deployment cycles.
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams, sharing best practices and ensuring reliable, secure, and observable deployments.
  • Contribute to testing practices including automation, integration testing, and release validation to uphold high-quality standards.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in real delivery and operations scenarios.
  • Familiarity with workload automation tools, Kafka, or Airflow.
  • Strong scripting and coding skills, particularly in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively across time zones and diverse teams.
  • Experience in building automated testing, integration testing, and release validation processes.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, or GitHub Actions.
  • Background in transforming PoCs into robust, production-grade deployments, including scaling, automation, and monitoring.

Language Required for the role:

  • Good command of English (communicative level).
