Senior Node.js Backend Engineer – Cloud and Serverless

As a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in cloud solutions and infrastructure services, committed to transforming how organizations harness AI and data-driven insights. Your expertise will contribute to building resilient, scalable distributed systems that power cutting-edge applications, driving innovation and digital excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust serverless applications within AWS using Node.js, Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Design and implement data integration workflows, including data analysis, transformation, and validation.
• Build and refine REST-like APIs to support seamless external and internal integrations.
• Create and manage Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations for AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, scale, and enhance system performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and version control best practices.
• Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimized cloud operations.
• Utilize containerization and Linux command-line skills for deployment and maintenance tasks.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in Node.js backend development.
• 2+ years of experience in system/data integration and distributed systems architecture.
• Deep understanding of serverless AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, S3.
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in GitHub, CICD pipelines, and Linux command-line tools.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on business impact.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with DynamoDB, DocumentDB, or Streaming Services.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and data science integrations.

Language required for the role: English, fluent command.
