Lead ServiceNow administration to manage the requirements from the ITSM platform!

As a ServiceNow Technical Administrator, you will be will align to the ‘Service Desks, Chatbots and Process Automation’ pillar. You will join an innovation team that drives transformation/optimization initiatives for production systems to ensure they remain available, fast, reliable, and quickly recoverable. The services provided to 500 IT teams include:
1. Service Desks, Chatbots, and Process Automation
2. Batch Scheduling Automation and Data Streaming Patterns
3. Observability, Monitoring Automation & AIOps
4. SRE & Chaos Engineering
Your main responsibilities:
- Lead ServiceNow administration to manage requirements from the ITSM platform, like configuring Service Request items, building operational reporting dashboards, etc.
- Work with business and development teams to assess their ServiceNow needs; conduct a technical review of requirements and recommend relevant solutions.
- Liaise with the global ServiceNow support team for development projects to implement workflows, permission/security/notification schemes, Service Request catalogs, etc.
- Design, implement and produce agreed-on solutions to address identified ITSM process gaps.
- Enable integration with ServiceNow via APIs for existing systems / new technologies.
- Design, develop and deliver formal technical training and demonstrations to existing staff and new joiners on ServiceNow usage to enable effective adoption.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and high-level solution architecture for end-user reference.
- Engage with key stakeholders like Transformation Heads, ITSM / SQM Leads, Production Support / Release Managers, Global Process Owners, DevOps teams/PODs, etc. to run ServiceNow projects.
- Perform the duties of a ServiceNow SME i.e. maintain, administer, upgrade and enhance the platform and integrate it with other tools or plugins/extensions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to propose and apply appropriate fixes.
You’re ideal for the role if you have:
- 5 years of experience and a proven track record of proficiency in ServiceNow administration.
- Deep technical understanding and hands-on experience of the ServiceNow platform.
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), and Agile and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of solution architecture and how systems integrate/scale.
- Excellent communication, presentation/documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated personality with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision/guidance
