Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 4 remote days per week).
As a Software Engineer – PKI & Certificate Management, you will be working for our client, a leading organization in secure digital communications. You will be integral to enhancing in-house products by developing and integrating cutting-edge certificate lifecycle management solutions, paving the way for safer and more reliable infrastructure. This role offers a unique chance to grow your expertise in cryptography, automation, and infrastructure, contributing to impactful technological advancements.
Your main responsibilities:
- Integrate existing applications with a new Certificate Lifetime Management (CLM) tool to replace legacy systems.
- Participate in deployment, maintenance, and support activities across engineering projects.
- Draft design, test, implementation, and unit testing documents to ensure robust development workflows.
- Collaborate effectively using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint to drive seamless project execution.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and bash scripting.
- Experience with drafting design and test documentation, implementation, and unit testing.
- Knowledge of PKI, certificates, certificate authorities, and CLM systems.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Splunk.
- Understanding of software release management, deployment tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience with databases (Microsoft SQL), Identity Access Management (RBAC, Privileged Access), and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure platforms (VMware, Windows, Linux), networks, and firewalls.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Venafi TPP knowledge & experience (Venafi for SSH key discovery).
- Previous experience in large organizations, preferably within the Financial Sector.
Language Required for the role:
- Communicative level of English (spoken and written).
