As a Splunk Engineer, you will work in one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations, serving +40 million customers globally. You will join the Digital Business Automation team, which is a global function within IT Infrastructure Delivery. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for building the Splunk reporting and analytics that will allow the Bank Platform to fully utilize the data. You will be helping to establish the log inputs to Splunk and work with the technology teams to understand what associated data points can be re-used to.

Your key Responsibilities:

• Onboarding of data sources from different technologies into Splunk
• Developing the dashboards, visualisations, reports, and alerts
• Designing, and building Splunk applications in a multi-site clustered environment
• Experience explaining Splunk concepts, and best practices to new Splunk users
• Supporting users with technical queries

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in Splunk
• Strong experience with SPL
• Knowledge of data normalization, and CIM mapping
• Ability to Understand the data governance, and lineage
• Experience in working with a global team across geographies, and cultures
• Fluent English

It’s a plus if you have:

• Knowledge of Splunk ITSI
• Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, Jira, Github, Jenkins, and Public Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience in Agile ways of working
• ITIL v3 Foundation
