Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely!

As a Technical Specialist – File Transmissions you will be assigned to our client – a renowned Investment Bank. You will be part of the Digital Business Automation – a global function within IT Infrastructure Delivery, which is responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for a number of critical products across the organization, as well as ensuring their availability, recoverability and security.

Your key Responsibilities:

• Configure, support and maintain the File Transmissions products
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues as to how best to exploit and utilise the technology
• Become a subject matter expert that shares knowledge and upskills colleagues
• Ability to identify opportunities to introduce more effective ways of working.

The ideal candidate has:

• Good general knowledge of file transfer protocols (e.g. sFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and products
• Windows and Linux system administration experience
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A self-motivated team player with good project management skills
• Proficiency in English language speaking and writing
• Experience of working with global team across geographies and cultures

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in Agile
• IBM Sterling File Gateway experience
• IBM Sterling Connect: Direct experience
• ITIL v3 Foundation
