As a Data Engineer you will be working for our Client, one of the most prestigious investment banks. You will join the Data Governance team that evolves and supports applications using agile methodology and on-site and cloud-based solutions. It’s a unique chance to use Enterprise Data Tooling and support business

Your main responsibility: developing the integration solutions across multiple Data Governance tools

• Processing modeling: based on requirements identify set of tasks, activities, dependencies and hierarchy of the processes
• Managing and designing data governance infrastructure
• Developing monitoring tools
• Supporting users and issues resolution
• Keeping and if needed setting the best coding standards and practices
• Cooperating with business analytics and architects
• Creating and maintaining a variety of Python scripts

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+years of hands-on experience in data engineering and familiarity with: Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Apache Camel
• 1-2 years of experience with managing software for complex technology platforms that serve a variety of user bases
• Strong subject matter knowledge in a data lake, cloud, Mule, SaaS, Security, SAML, SSO, data management, data quality management, and data governance
• Experience with data management development tools and their capabilities
• Several years of experience with building interfaces and integration across various of application
• Knowledge of requirements management tools and methods (JIRA or equivalent, Kanban)
• Very good understanding of SDLC (including version controls, Jira, and release)
• Fluent English

It is nice to have:

• Familiarity with the banking regulations and audits processes related to software development
• Experience of working with IT architects and developers to develop an understanding of the solution architecture and changes to service delivery driven by new functionality
• Strong communication skills, able to obtain and analyze feedback across a variety of user groups and to communicate data management concepts to a wide audience
• Good coordination and technical skills and ability to manage across complex dependent technical services, vendors, internal teams and locations
