As a Data Privacy Business Analyst DAO, you will join the DataVisa Product Management Team and Data and Architecture Office (DAO) in one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations, serving +40 million customers globally. Also, you will provide support for our legal and regulatory compliance models for data sharing and privacy, guidance for the centralized process to assess requests for cross-border data transfers and privacy assessments, and application requirements gathering and assessment for change.
Your key Responsibilities:
- Assessing the viability of new requests and providing proposals and solutions to the business that meet their requirements, meet the IT strategy and maximize reuse opportunities
- Gathering business requirements from stakeholders and business partners, translating them to technical implementation and test cases, and executing test cases to ensure the quality of technical deliveries and new processes
- Providing support and guidance on the DataVisa process and rules to people requesting data transfers
- Providing support to complete specific project deliverables and activities, such as documentation of requirements, implementation of changes to models, applications, and processes, and data remediation and migration strategies
- Identifying and monitoring risks and issues, and supporting mitigation and resolution efforts, such as escalating to the appropriate contacts
- Liaising with Local and Group Legal, Regulatory Compliance, and Chief Data Officer Teams (including GB/GF CDO) as required to clarify requirements
- Coordinating meeting and document minutes to ensure decisions and knowledge obtained are shared with relevant stakeholders
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Experience with Data Management
- Understanding of Data Privacy, Data Sharing and/or have an understanding of regulatory challenges and operational processes.
- Ability to:
- Pay attention to detail and ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required levels of quality
- Prioritize competing demands
- Work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent self-organizing skills
- Fluent English
It’s a plus if you have:
- Exposure to DTCS (the previous client’s data transfer process), or DataVisa, the current client’s data sharing process
- Experience within a regulatory environment and exposure to regional regulations e.g. GDPR, PIPL etc
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA
