Lead a team creating an adaptive framework from scratch

Warsaw based opportunity with the possibility to work fully remote!

As a Lead Java/Kotlin Developer, you will work for our client – one of the largest Investment Bank in the world. You will join a brand new team dedicated to build an adaptive framework (Web/Mobile) to support cloud migrations and other new developments of the firm. This is a brand new team being built between Warsaw, Wroclaw and New-York, with all technical decisions being made in Poland. The team will also be in charge of adding any technologies they see fit to the project.

Your main responsibilities: Create a new framework cross-platform

• Write excellent-quality code based on functional requirements, while meeting agile implementation deadlines
• Work proactively and independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
• Provide expertise in technical analysis and solve technical issues during project delivery
• Ensure code developed meets the requirements with Code reviews and test case reviews

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 7 years of experience with Java
• Good knowledge of Kotlin
• Good knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
• Experience with Openshift / Snowflake
• Knowledge of Gradle/Kotlin DSL
• Great communication skills
• Fluent English
