As a Senior Cloud Architect you will work for our Client – The EU’s leading bank and key player on the international banking scene, operating in 72 countries. You will join a brand new, state-of-the-art, technology and development Hub created to bring together the strongest players in the IT market. The successful candidate will join the Global Banking team as one of the Experts, whose mission is oriented on technical architecture, products and services definition and patterns implementation.

Your main responsibilities: working on transformation and migration of the applications into the different Cloud platforms

• Defining Cloud reference architectures
• Contributing to the construction of the Move-to-Cloud scenarios
• Contributing to the definition of requirements in terms of Cloud products and services and liaising with the Cloud platforms product owners for their integration in the delivery plan
• Defining Cloud patterns implementation scenarios: DevSecOps, Micro-segmentation, zero-touch-provisioning and deployment, auto-healing, auto-scaling, Infrastructure-as-a-Code
• Assisting development and production teams on the applications architecture design and transformation plan, succeeding on the integration of the different cloud patterns

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience on Cloud transformation / Cloud migration projects
• Past experience with IBM Cloud
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes and Helm Chart
• Familiarity with Event Streams – Apache Kafka for the Enterprise
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Strong experience with Object Storage Concepts and Architecture, building a web gallery app in the Cloud
• Familiarity with Micro-segmentation, flows management with Illumio
• Understanding the Applicative Logging and Monitoring Offering Guide
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design and how it relates to Reactive Architecture
• Experience with Istio, service-mesh technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Understanding of FinOps
