Become a key member of a markets and securities services department for one of the world’s largest banks!

Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work fully remotely!

As a Senior Scala Developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team that provides services in the Global Banking, and Markets IT department. You will be build a solution for automated OTC trading with extensive GUI for bank clients. You will be independent in choosing tooling & frameworks. You will provide new business functionalities, develop the trading platform, and improve/automate our work environment. You will follow TDD principles, and attend Agile rituals (daily standups, weekly planning). You will be working for one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining software for the OTC platform
• Covering your software with tests on all levels of the delivery pipeline, preferably in TDD
• Taking end-to-end responsibility for your software
• Attending daily Agile routines with the OTC team
• Collaborating with DCS & FIRE developers to enhance the platform

You’re ideal for the role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Development
• 3+ years of professional experience in Scala
• Knowledge of Scala, ZIO, Akka, SQL, Git, Scalatest
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience with Windows
• Ability to work in an Agile, DevSecOps-oriented environment
• Ability to work as a part of a team and communicate well with the Product Owner
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• General experience in Cloud-based platforms
• Knowledge of Slick
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka, Grafana, InfluxDB
• Knowledge of Jira / Github
