As a Sourcing Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, supporting the execution of sourcing projects across multiple categories and geographies. You will play a key role in managing end-to-end sourcing activities, ensuring that country-specific savings targets are met. The position involves collaborating with teams in Poland and Switzerland, leveraging your expertise in sourcing strategy, negotiations, and supplier management to deliver maximum value. You will contribute to both short-term and long-term savings goals while supporting a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your main responsibilities: Managing end-to-end sourcing activities across multiple categories and geographies
- Defining sourcing approaches and ensuring maximum value delivery for the business
- Applying supply, cost, and demand levers to drive efficiency and savings
- Planning and executing negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms
- Managing the implementation, extension, and termination of contracts
- Contributing to annual and sustainable savings targets for each category or country plan
- Supporting sourcing projects in Poland and Switzerland with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction
- Delivering savings through effective negotiation strategies and supplier management
- Analyzing data and conducting benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement
- Working independently to meet objectives and deliver quality results
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally in a similar position
- Strong expertise in sourcing strategy, negotiation planning, and contract management
- Ability to manage end-to-end sourcing processes across different categories and countries
- Experience in delivering savings through effective negotiations and cost management
- A university degree (or higher) with a focus on procurement, business, or related fields
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and deliver against objectives within defined timelines
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct data analysis and benchmarking
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic approach to sourcing
- A collaborative attitude, working effectively with cross-functional teams in different locations
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working on projects related to sourcing and procurement
- Knowledge of European languages (e.g., Italian, Spanish, French)
- Familiarity with procurement tools and platforms for managing sourcing activities
- Previous experience working in financial services or a similar industry
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid working model with in-office presence as required
- Experience managing complex contracts and supplier relationships
- Understanding of market trends and best practices in sourcing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
- Ability to drive change and improvements in sourcing processes
- Experience in managing cross-border sourcing projects and activities
