As a Metadata Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a partial relocation to Saudi Arabia. The client’s Enterprise Data Management Department is responsible for managing metadata across the organization. As a Metadata Specialist, your main responsibility will be to support the management of metadata, including technical metadata, business metadata, process metadata, and governance metadata.

Your main responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of metadata management policies and controls

• Address metadata queries and maintain the business glossary and data dictionary
• Develop and maintain metadata business standards
• Analyze data sources for compatibility with metadata technology
• Assist in building the importance and usage of metadata across the organization

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in data management
• Knowledge of metadata management concepts, practices, and techniques
• Familiarity with metadata capture and exploitation approaches
• Understanding of data management principles and the banking industry
