As a Programme Manager IRR, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to regulatory excellence and global program execution. You will lead a dynamic team across multiple locations, focusing on delivering and enhancing regulatory reporting systems. This role involves overseeing product development roadmaps, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring successful project outcomes within the Regulatory Excellence programme.
Your main responsibilities:
- Owning delivery execution within the Regulatory Excellence programme and managing the product development roadmap and adoption plans
- Accountable for programme delivery strategy and approach across multiple projects, building stakeholder buy-in and managing changes
- Overseeing programme reporting, governance, and benefits realization in accordance with the client’s Change Framework
- Leading Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and PMOs on a high-profile global delivery to meet commitments across budget, benefits, schedule, and scope
- Partnering with Product and SMEs in the annual planning and forecasting process
- Evaluating new change requirements and facilitating integrated triage to identify requirements, scope, and budget
- Managing stakeholder discussions related to delivery strategy, scope, capabilities, and budget
- Overseeing resource plans and producing detailed budgets that align with deliverables and work effort
- Serving as an escalation point to manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and providing solutions-oriented consultation
- Utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence to establish delivery dashboards and reports to ensure financial health and performance against KPIs
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Exceptional understanding of data in the context of regulatory reporting
- Extensive experience in programme management and leading large, complex global deliveries
- Proven ability to develop capability in change teams through coaching and training
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including communication with senior executives
- Ability to think strategically and manage complexity, balancing significant change and multiple priorities
- Track record of delivering programmes on time and on budget, achieving business case outcomes
- Experience applying Agile methodology in programme and product development
- Impeccable written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience working within a global matrix organization model
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Agile certification(s) such as SAFe
- Familiarity with financial institutions and financial services
