As a Testing Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution. This role involves overseeing the testing strategy for the Control-M application within their platform. You will be responsible for driving testing practices across technologies, ensuring quality assurance is built into every phase of the development and deployment lifecycle. Your leadership will shape testing processes, ensure scalability, and drive continuous improvements in testing efficiency. If you have a strong background in testing, automation, and strategy development, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact.

Your main responsibilities: Execute onboarding operations, including hiring, job changes, conducting physical signing sessions, and coordinating with Recruiting Coordinators

  • Solving engineering problems related to testing and developing scalable, fast, and continuous testing processes
  • Building strong relationships with product owners, technical leads, and the testing community
  • Determining tools and approaches for testing per product and automating the storage of test output
  • Maintaining and developing test frameworks to ensure predictability and repeatability
  • Developing automated tests for verifying acceptance criteria
  • Introducing KPIs or metrics to measure the success of testing practices
  • Ensuring that documented test strategies and plans reflect the current position
  • Agreeing on appropriate hosting solutions for necessary testing infrastructure and software
  • Managing the testing lifecycle, from planning to execution, with a focus on efficiency and quality

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Extensive experience in testing in fast-paced IT environments
  • Strong strategic planning skills and the ability to execute complex testing strategies
  • Proficiency in automation tooling and the ability to develop automated test processes
  • Experience with various types of testing, such as unit, performance, and regression testing
  • Proven ability to evaluate the success of testing strategies and processes
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Experience working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to work with global teams across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Background in Workload Automation scheduling tools (desirable but not required)

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Previous experience leading testing strategies for Control-M or similar technologies
  • Experience with testing in a multi-platform environment (cloud, on-premises, hybrid)
  • Knowledge of software testing best practices and frameworks
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar
  • Experience with performance testing and load testing tools
