Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Data Architect, you will be working for our client, a leading institution in online banking undergoing a significant technological transformation. The project involves migrating to a new low-code platform based on MS SQL and optimizing data architecture to support future-ready applications. You will play a key role in defining data integration strategies, improving data flow between systems, and ensuring robust data models are in place to support business growth. This is an opportunity to shape the future of data infrastructure in a modern banking environment.

Your main responsibilities: Design and develop scalable data architecture solutions

  • Analyze existing data systems and recommend improvements
  • Create data models aligned with business requirements
  • Define strategies for data integration with the data warehouse
  • Optimize data structures for high performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with application development
  • Recommend best practices in data governance and data management
  • Guide teams through data migration processes
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
  • Support the implementation of cloud-based data solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with data architecture
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including modeling, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools like Informatica Power Center
  • Knowledge of cloud storage platforms and their integration
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Apache Kafka
  • Proven experience in data migration projects
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to recommend optimal solutions
  • Understanding of data transformation processes and warehouse integration
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience with low-code or no-code platforms is a plus
