Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 times in the office/month).

As an Android Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, developing secure and user-friendly mobile applications that empower millions of users to manage their finances digitally. You will be involved in creating new Android features using Kotlin, ensuring high code quality through automated testing, and collaborating on the end-to-end delivery of scalable solutions. The client offers a modern tech stack, Agile methodology, and a dynamic environment where innovation and clean architecture are highly valued.

Your main responsibilities: Implement new functionalities for Android using Kotlin

• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues
• Ensure high quality through the creation of unit and automated tests
• Participate in project planning, development, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including testers, designers, and product managers
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Maintain and refactor legacy code written in Java
• Follow best practices for Android architecture and design
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes
• Document solutions and maintain technical communication in English

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 2 years of experience developing Android applications
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin
• Strong familiarity with Jetpack Compose
• Understanding of Java and the ability to modify existing code
• Knowledge of Android platform-specific development principles
• Experience with writing unit, integration, and automated tests
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and practices
• Working proficiency in English for reading documentation and technical communication

Nice to have:

• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of Jira, Git, and Confluence
• Experience working as a DevOps
• Experience working with modularized applications
