Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As an AI Governance Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services provider focused on building secure, data-driven AI systems. You will be supporting the implementation and oversight of responsible AI practices by reviewing use cases, ensuring governance compliance, and managing key data and risk processes. This role sits at the intersection of AI technology and compliance, offering an exciting opportunity to shape AI governance frameworks while collaborating with cybersecurity, risk, and compliance professionals. You will play a vital part in supporting agile project management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your main responsibilities: Processing AI governance tickets from assessment through to completion

  • Reviewing AI use cases and verifying alignment with governance standards
  • Working with tooling to support data-driven governance and reporting
  • Extracting, cleaning, and analysing data to generate insights and improve workflows
  • Maintaining a central inventory of AI/ML models with key metadata and risk indicators
  • Supporting the resolution of AI-related queries and proposing immediate solutions
  • Preparing stakeholder-facing communications, reports, and presentations
  • Managing task backlogs and supporting project timelines using agile methodologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination
  • Identifying and automating process improvement opportunities

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, AI/ML risk management, regulatory compliance, or technology
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data analysis
  • Familiarity with AI/ML governance, risk classification, and model inventory management
  • Understanding of agile project management principles and tools like JIRA
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with attention to detail
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and adapting to new technologies and frameworks

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Understanding of cyber and AI terminology and technologies
  • Experience supporting AI governance in large-scale financial institutions
  • Industry certifications in data, cybersecurity, or AI governance
  • Experience working with regulatory monitoring and internal compliance processes
