Join us and take a leading role in shaping accurate and efficient financial reporting!

As an Expert Financial Accounting & Reporting you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial infrastructure that supports securities trading, settlement, financial information, and payment transactions worldwide. You will be part of a dynamic international team based in Warsaw, responsible for general ledger processes and regulatory reporting for both Swiss and international entities. In this role, you will lead closing activities, prepare financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS, manage centralized accounting tasks, and contribute to projects improving efficiency and automation across finance operations.

Your main responsibilities: Process daily business activities by booking and reconciling accounting documents

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for selected entities
  • Prepare financial statements in line with applicable GAAP and support auditing procedures
  • Perform centralized accounting tasks such as Asset Accounting and FX Valuation
  • Contribute to projects focused on continuous improvement and automation
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 4 years of practical experience in a General Ledger environment
  • Experience in Asset Accounting within SAP
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles including IFRS and Polish Accounting Standards
  • Fluency in English, with German as a strong advantage
  • Ability to take ownership and work effectively in a team environment
  • Result-oriented mindset with commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to challenge processes and requirements
  • Openness to change and willingness to contribute to process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills across departments and levels
