Senior DevOps Engineer – Automation and AI Integration

As a Senior DevOps Engineer – Automation and AI Integration, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services organization. You will play a key role within the Enterprise Integration Platform team, focusing on elevating platform capabilities through automation powered by AI. This position offers a dynamic environment where your expertise directly impacts operational resilience, release safety, and cutting-edge technology deployment worldwide.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions at scale for operational processes.
• Build resilient automation systems integrating AI/ML technologies.
• Collaborate with a multicultural, global engineering team across UK, India, China, and Poland, working in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to improving platform performance, reliability, and safety through innovative automation strategies.
• Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and analyze outcomes.
• Participate in sprints, cross-functional ceremonies, and promote best practices in DevOps.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or engineering roles within fast-paced, automation-driven environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with software engineering, scripting, or programming (Python, Go, Bash).
• Experience with AI/ML programming and scripting.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating across multiple time zones.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with Control-M or IBM SFG/Connect:Direct.
• Knowledge of mainframe (z/OS) job workflows.
• Exposure to financial services compliance environments.
