As a Vendor Management Analyst – Technology & Financial Services, you will be working within our client’s Chief Technology Office—specifically supporting vendor lifecycle management in a highly regulated environment. You will contribute to shaping effective vendor strategies, ensuring optimized IT spend, and enhancing operational efficiency across technology functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic, globally focused setting.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage IT spend approval processes for CTO functions, preparing and presenting weekly updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate vendor management analyses to support procurement and budget decisions.
  • Support daily vendor lifecycle activities, including data collection, benchmarking, and documenting meetings and actions.
  • Maintain portfolio trackers and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data updates (renewals, RAID logs, decision points).
  • Extract key contractual terms and highlight gaps, risks, and remediation actions during contract review processes.
  • Partner with Operations and Finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and track benefits realization.
  • Ensure budgets are in place (Run, Change, Transformation) and assist requestors with submission procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment through close coordination and responsibility sharing.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management, commercial management, procurement support, or similar roles within financial services or regulated sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and generate clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Good understanding of technology vendor landscapes, contractual constructs (SLAs, licensing, renewal clauses).
  • Experience supporting business case development and benefits tracking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of working confidently across functions and senior levels.
  • Attention to detail and strong governance discipline.
  • Financial awareness related to cost drivers and budgeting principles.
  • Comfortable working with data/reporting tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or MI dashboards.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications or experience in procurement, vendor management, or financial analysis.

Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent English (excellent command).
