Senior Tax Operations Project Manager – Financial Services

As a Senior Project Manager in Tax Operations, you will be working for our client in the financial services industry, focusing on transforming and industrializing tax processes across custody, fund accounting, and transfer agency operations. You will play a pivotal role in launching enterprise-wide automation and compliance solutions that reduce operational risk and enhance client satisfaction. This is an exciting chance to lead large-scale initiatives promoting innovation and operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Own the construction of the Single Source of Truth for all tax references across LC/GC Custody, Fund Accounting, and Transfer Agent.
• Industrialize tax data through the Tax Gold Source Model, eliminating bespoke exceptions and enabling automated workflows and self-service reporting.
• Lead the design and rollout of the Tax Operating Model Blueprint, defining procedures, KPIs, controls, and embedding tax expertise into client delivery channels.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to ensure timely delivery of milestones, including vendor surveys and regulatory readiness.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align cross-business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory declarations and reclaim requirements.
• Manage detailed project plans, dependencies, and resources, maintaining high standards of communication and reporting.
• Work autonomously within a B2B collaboration model, demonstrating resilience, clarity, and stakeholder management.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience within Securities Services, custody, or related asset servicing environments.
• Strong knowledge of tax/regulatory frameworks and experience in banking industry projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Proven expertise in Agile project delivery, with PMI or PRINCE2 certification being a plus.
• Excellent command of English (C1+), both written and spoken; Polish language skills are required.
• Ability to build and manage complex project plans, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
• Eligibility to work in Europe.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with securities services, asset management, or custody environments.
• Additional certifications in project management or relevant finance industry accreditations.

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken). Polish proficiency required.
