Senior Java Backend Developer – Rest API & OpenShift

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in banking technology, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge omnichannel banking solutions. You will help build a comprehensive REST API suite for banking systems across internet, mobile, and branch backoffice platforms, shaping the future of digital finance. This long-term collaboration offers a unique chance to innovate at the intersection of banking and technology.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize REST API services to support multi-channel banking platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure API integration aligns with business needs.
• Implement high-quality, scalable backend solutions using OpenShift, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, and other modern tech stacks.
• Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring stability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Contribute to architecture design and technical standards.
• Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline delivery processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience working with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Experience or familiarity with banking or financial services systems is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Java or cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of security standards for banking APIs.
• Experience with long-term API maintenance and optimization.

Language Required for the role:

• Polish (Good command)
• English (Communicative-level proficiency)
