Senior Technical Business Analyst – Data & Banking Solutions

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, dedicated to delivering innovative data-driven solutions that shape the future of banking. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical executions, ensuring seamless integration and optimum performance across platforms. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to understand and translate requirements into functional and data solutions, leveraging existing platform features or requesting new ones when necessary.
• Educate stakeholders on how their needs can be met through practical solutions, fostering clear communication and alignment.
• Work with solution architects to convert functional insights into technical specifications, including data quality assessments and coverage analyses.
• Document detailed requirements, articulating business challenges, benefits, solutions, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct or oversee testing to validate that solutions deliver desired results, coordinating with testing teams and obtaining formal sign-off.
• Support deployment efforts and address queries post-implementation, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Maintain consistent, accurate, and timely documentation, validating all deliverables before sharing.
• Adapt working hours flexibly to align with global teams, ensuring smooth collaboration across time zones.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role within financial services or banking.
• Strong expertise in data analysis and visualization utilizing Spark, Scala, Hadoop, and related platforms.
• Knowledge of HDFS filesystems, Unix environments, and Quantexa software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Cloud platform understanding.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and drive ownership of projects.
• Ability to operate efficiently in fast-paced settings, with strong analytical and logical thinking.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with financial data systems and regulatory requirements.
• Certifications in data analysis or project management.
