Account Operating Officer

As an Account Operating Officer, you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. In this role, you will facilitate seamless client onboarding and account maintenance processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirements. You will deliver tailored solutions, enhance the client experience, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency.

Your main responsibilities:

• Provide direct, client-friendly guidance on account structures, policies, and regulatory requirements during or after client meetings.
• Prepare and share customized documentation for various account structures to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Build comprehensive KYC client profiles using information from clients and official public sources.
• Collect and verify strong KYC data from clients, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Validate application packs, perform background checks, and resolve any gaps identified in documentation for optimal client satisfaction.
• Proactively prepare escalation write-ups for senior approvers, detailing risks and due diligence performed.
• Manage banker and client expectations to reduce the end-to-end account delivery cycle time.
• Participate in process improvements and regulatory reviews to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Compliance, Business Risk, KYC quality checkers, and Tax Teams to provide bespoke service and maintain adherence to policies.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in KYC, AML compliance, account opening, or account maintenance, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Client-facing experience and the ability to deliver exceptional service under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
• A collaborative approach to managing stakeholders throughout the onboarding or maintenance lifecycle.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset to ensure compliance and deliver superior client experiences.
