As an Agile Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution renowned for its innovation and global reach. You will be contributing to medium-sized and moderately complex technology projects that span multiple business units and geographies. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the Agile delivery method is adhered to, managing the backlog of requirements and analysis, and supporting the product lifecycle from conception to live deployment. You will collaborate closely with Agile engineering teams and Product Owners to evolve product roadmaps and enhance the overall delivery environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Assuring delivery of user requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Working within medium-sized, medium complexity technology projects across various business units
  • Leading Agile engineering teams using DevOps practices like test automation, continuous integration, and deployment
  • Providing expertise in Agile engineering practices, including Scrum, Kanban, LEAN, and Disciplined Agile and SAFE frameworks
  • Supporting Product Owners in evolving product roadmaps, creating epics, writing user stories, and managing the product backlog
  • Prioritizing and managing backlogs for a Value stream or Pod, performing PO/BA related activities during Program increments
  • Supporting production issues and functional queries on a priority basis
  • Creating analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
  • Defining and tracking metrics and performance indicators for the product
  • Guiding Agile team performance and outcome metrics as required

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Expertise in Agile engineering practices
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as test automation, continuous integration, and deployment
  • Proficiency in prioritizing and managing backlogs
  • Ability to support production issues and functional queries effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to create customer journey and product functionality analyses
  • Experience in defining and tracking metrics and performance indicators
  • Capability to guide Agile team performance
  • Knowledge of process and a low-level understanding of multiple areas like disciplined Agile software delivery and production support processes
  • Understanding of risk exposure to the bank and the ability to help senior colleagues manage it
  • Experience contributing to the development of BA elements of IT Portfolio and Programme Management practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Expertise in core banking, microservices, finance, or payments
  • Experience supporting the Product Owner role or acting as a Product Owner
  • Knowledge of continuous DevOps pipelines
  • Familiarity with creating and managing product roadmaps, epics, and user stories
