As an AI Coding Assistant Integration and Governance Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution. The company is focused on incorporating cutting-edge AI-based coding assistants into their technical ecosystem while ensuring strict adherence to governance and compliance processes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical evaluations, manage vendor relationships, and oversee the implementation of AI solutions. Your expertise will be key in ensuring that the integration meets both technical and regulatory requirements in a secure and efficient manner.

Your main responsibilities: Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with governance policies and processes

  • Contributing to the technical evaluation of AI-based coding assistants for compatibility and performance
  • Engaging with vendors and legal teams to negotiate contracts and ensure smooth integration
  • Leveraging AI expertise to guide technical decision-making and assess integration needs
  • Designing and executing communication strategies to promote AI integration within the engineering community
  • Aiding in the development and execution of pilot rollout plans, including feedback collection mechanisms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and address concerns during integration
  • Implementing and managing the technical setup, including plugin integration and authentication protocols
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvements based on feedback and best practices
  • Ensuring the integration aligns with DevSecOps principles, focusing on security and process compliance

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in evaluating and integrating AI technologies within large-scale organizations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly with vendors and procurement teams
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and legal considerations for AI integration
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage deadlines and deliver results
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to make data-driven decisions for integration processes
  • Experience in managing technical setups and integration of complex systems
  • Knowledge of AI coding assistants and their applications in a business environment
  • Ability to engage with cross-functional teams and drive collaborative solutions
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, compliance policies, and risk management

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector
  • Experience with DevSecOps principles and secure software integration
  • Familiarity with Generative AI and its associated risks, particularly around IP protection
  • Knowledge of monitoring mechanisms and technical troubleshooting in AI integration
