As an Automation Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, on a project that focuses on enhancing workload automation. The aim is to optimize workflow and processes for IT and business teams by developing solutions on the Control-M platform. You will play a key role in automating testing, maintaining code, and integrating new functionalities. This position provides the opportunity to contribute to a strategic initiative, ensuring automation solutions are aligned with industry best practices.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining code in line with software engineering best practices
  • Automating testing and use cases related to the Control-M platform
  • Developing and deploying code through CI/CD pipelines
  • Ensuring code repositories are maintained and integrated with automation tools
  • Supporting platform functionality and developing new integrations
  • Collaborating with IT and business teams to optimize workflows
  • Troubleshooting and resolving automation issues in a timely manner
  • Documenting technical solutions and workflows for future reference
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong coding experience with Python, especially for test automation
  • Experience in Linux administration and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines and integrating with GIT repositories
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent English
  • Familiarity with best practices in CI/CD pipeline development
  • Ability to work effectively within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience in developing or supporting automation solutions for large-scale platforms
  • Understanding of JSON, XML, YAML, or similar formats
  • Exposure to Restful API development or integration

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with Control-M as a developer or administrator on Unix/Linux
  • Knowledge of integrating DevOps tools like Git and Jenkins with Control-M
  • Familiarity with Robot Framework or Ansible
