Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 60% remote

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global organization in the financial sector, focusing on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions. The company is committed to driving innovation and ensuring seamless, secure banking experiences for millions of customers worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and define business requirements, ensuring they align with technical solutions within a complex infrastructure environment. You will contribute to key projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, working towards optimizing processes and delivering impactful solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them into actionable specifications
  • Defining project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Mapping current and future state process flows to identify areas for improvement
  • Conducting gap analysis to determine discrepancies between business needs and technical solutions
  • Eliciting, documenting, and refining business requirements, including epic confirmation and user story creation
  • Collaborating with architecture and development teams to refine requirements
  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations
  • Conducting operational design and impact analysis to evaluate business processes
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and building strong relationships
  • Analyzing data and providing insights for improved decision-making and system optimization

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve business challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements simply
  • Proven experience in Agile project environments
  • End-to-end project lifecycle experience
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects or complex IT initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Critical thinking skills to assess risks and identify mitigation strategies
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Jira, and Confluence

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • IT service management certifications
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Knowledge of operational design and impact analysis
  • Experience working in the financial services sector
