As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, on a pivotal data management project. Your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify and document business and data requirements for various initiatives. You’ll translate these requirements into detailed models and specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements
• Documenting business and data requirements using industry-standard methodologies
• Identifying and specifying data requirements accurately
• Ensuring alignment of data architecture and software designs with business needs
• Documenting, validating, and communicating data requirements
• Mitigating risks related to data quality, security, and regulatory compliance
• Ensuring adherence to enterprise policies and standards
• Participating in testing and validation activities
• Monitoring and assessing requirements alignment with evolving business needs
• Providing support and guidance to project stakeholders

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Proficiency in exploring and understanding requirements and data
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik)
• Knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory requirements
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with Personal data retention policies including GDPR
• Knowledge of banking and Financial services industry-specific data sources and reporting requirements
• Familiarity with advanced data structures and modeling
• Experience of working in an agile delivery team
• Familiarity with SQL and other programming languages such as Python, R
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics
