C# Developer

As a C# Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization. You will be part of the Product Control Development (PCD) team, dedicated to the independent review of front office and risk models. The team focuses on designing and implementing software for fair value adjustment methodologies, enhancing the control framework used by Product Control and Market Risk Management. You will work closely with technical leads to develop and maintain desktop and web-based systems, ensuring high-quality product delivery and adherence to design objectives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyzing and capturing functional and non-functional requirements for projects
• Designing and implementing tools and features using test-driven development techniques
• Providing support for team-owned applications to users
• Contributing to the strategic vision for the team’s development infrastructure
• Manipulating large and complex data sets using SQL
• Engaging with team members for development projects and contributing to discussions
• Following best software development practices to ensure high-quality products
• Providing prompt resolution of problem issues related to the software
• Participating in on-call and weekend rota support

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Solid knowledge and experience with C#/.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in designing and developing multi-tier and multi-layer applications
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Effective teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Responsibility for end-to-end delivery, independence, and discipline
• Proactivity and drive to constantly develop and learn new skills
• Experience with unit testing techniques and frameworks
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and banking
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with cloud services and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React or Angular
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
