Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Cloud Security Control Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undergoing a large-scale transformation of its cybersecurity capabilities to better align with cloud-first strategies. You will be part of a team dedicated to uplifting and harmonizing risk and control processes across global cloud environments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as security architecture, risk management, and control owners, you are ensuring that cybersecurity controls in the cloud are governed, measured, and enhanced according to best practices. This role blends stakeholder coordination, governance facilitation, and operational execution in a dynamic enterprise setting.

Your main responsibilities: Collaborating with control owners and stakeholders to align on cloud control frameworks

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to uplift cybersecurity control design and operation
  • Facilitating governance meetings and forums to ensure clear communication and accountability
  • Managing JIRA boards, including Epics, Stories, and Tasks for tracking deliverables
  • Maintaining and updating the team’s operating model, procedures, and Confluence documentation
  • Supporting the definition of business requirements and participating in user acceptance testing
  • Ensuring governance and measurement processes follow internal frameworks and industry standards
  • Translating technical cybersecurity concepts into business-aligned communication
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports with high-quality written English
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in cloud cybersecurity governance

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Strong stakeholder management experience in international, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with cybersecurity leadership and risk teams
  • Expertise in risk and control management within IT or cybersecurity contexts
  • Solid understanding of technology risks, controls, and governance practices
  • Proficiency in defining and interpreting KCIs, KRIs, and KPIs
  • Working knowledge of cloud security concepts and frameworks
  • Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under changing priorities
  • Experience in managing complex projects across multiple teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a persuasive and credible presence

It is strong plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with financial industry cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with GRC tools and cloud compliance monitoring platforms
  • Previous involvement in operating model or governance design
  • Knowledge of JIRA workflows and agile delivery environments
