Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely!

As a Community of Practice Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, responsible for protecting customers, systems, and colleagues from cyber threats. Your role involves establishing and growing communities of practice among technologists, focused on sharing cybersecurity best practices, starting with application security.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Participating in working groups and feedback sessions to understand user feedback on Cyber Education and Awareness platforms
  • Identifying and monitoring general channels used by engineers, highlighting relevant topics to cybersecurity teams
  • Recommending and implementing changes to the Cyber Education and Awareness program based on user feedback
  • Identifying opportunities to share best practices across geographies and lines of business
  • Driving internal social engagement with cybersecurity materials, including content drafting and responding to feedback
  • Designing initiatives to recognize and celebrate Secure Code Warrior ‘power users’ and Security Champions
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual ‘Ultimate Secure Code Warrior Tournament’ during Cyber Awareness Month
  • Collaborating closely with teams across the Cybersecurity department, Global Engineering, CTO, and Tech Academy

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience working with developers or engaging developers in previous roles
  • Foundational understanding of secure development principles (e.g., OWASP, secure development lifecycle)
  • Experience in matrixed organizations
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Experience managing or being an active member of online and in-person communities
  • Ability to identify trending issues and escalate them promptly
  • Strong team player skills, capable of building positive and collaborative relationships
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels internally and externally

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity education platforms like Secure Code Warrior
  • Experience in employee engagement roles
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and trends
