As a Control-M Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial services organization dedicated to implementing and supporting advanced automation strategies across its extensive IT infrastructure. You will be integral to their Digital Business Automation (DigiBA) team, where you will be managing and optimizing Control-M environments to ensure the seamless execution of automated workflows. This role is pivotal in ensuring the availability, recoverability, and security of critical business processes, enabling IT and business teams to achieve operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Administering, installing, and configuring Control-M Server/EM/Agents/CM Module
  • Analyzing and resolving Control-M system production problems within SLAs
  • Maintaining and running Control-M Server and EM to support automated batch schedules
  • Managing application support operations, ensuring resiliency and availability, including system health and performance monitoring
  • Performing Control-M component and OS-level patching
  • Analyzing and fixing identified vulnerabilities across Control-M, OS, and Database with vendor support
  • Managing and coordinating the resolution of production incidents, including conducting post-mortems and root cause analysis
  • Investigating, triaging, and resolving production incidents, using data to identify root causes and enable future mitigation
  • Documenting post-incident recovery steps to establish root cause, support process improvements, and build a knowledge base

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience in Control-M administration as Level 2/3 of production support for complex infrastructures
  • Expertise in testing, evaluating, and deploying new Control-M functionalities and fix packs released by the vendor
  • Exposure to fixing vulnerabilities across Control-M, OS, and databases
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows, and iSeries/AS400 platforms
  • Experience in Unix scripting for automation initiatives
  • Understanding of ITIL principles and other Service Management Frameworks
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating ownership and accountability
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, and Kubernetes
