As a Cybersecurity Project Manager – CNAPP, you will be working for our client, a globally recognized financial institution, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge cybersecurity defense initiatives. You will lead and coordinate complex projects within the Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) program, aimed at strengthening the organization’s security posture in an evolving threat landscape. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll be balancing scope, timelines, budget, and risk to drive strategic technology transformations, ensuring secure and scalable cloud-native operations in a global enterprise environment.
Your main responsibilities: Driving end-to-end project delivery across cybersecurity cloud-native programs
- Supporting programme delivery while balancing scope, schedule, dependencies, and risks
- Leading stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external partners
- Applying Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean within technology teams
- Managing resourcing, scheduling, and team responsibilities across initiatives
- Establishing effective programme controls and quality assurance processes
- Reporting project progress, issues, and risks to leadership and steering committees
- Aligning project delivery with organizational standards and change frameworks
- Supporting budgeting, cost tracking, and benefits realization for cybersecurity projects
- Driving continuous improvement in project and program management practice
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in project or program management in a cybersecurity or technology setting
- Strong understanding of cloud-native platforms and security principles
- Experience managing technical stakeholders and cross-functional project teams
- Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resource planning
- Familiarity with global enterprise environments and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with risk, issue, and change management processes
- Ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of CNAPP or cloud security architecture
- Experience with enterprise portfolio and project management tools
- Familiarity with cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud security environments
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar)
