Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office).

As a Data Remediation Oversight CIB Project Manager you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing critical transformation to improve data quality, regulatory compliance, and reporting across business units. You will be leading cross-functional data initiatives with a focus on remediation, lineage, and governance, ensuring alignment across Risk, Finance, and other key stakeholders. This role involves overseeing complex, multi-market data programs, embedding effective project governance, and ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks while driving measurable business outcomes.

Your main responsibilities: Leading data quality and remediation projects in alignment with enterprise objectives

  • Managing project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets to meet delivery commitments
  • Influencing project strategy and gaining stakeholder buy-in for key decisions
  • Coordinating with Scrum Masters to support Agile ceremonies and sprint execution
  • Ensuring clear governance, sponsorship, and compliance with change frameworks
  • Supervising team performance and tracking delivery against project goals
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across markets and business functions
  • Reporting progress, issues, and risks to senior leadership with clarity and insight
  • Overseeing regulatory reporting enhancements through data-driven project execution
  • Driving delivery excellence across multiple data-focused initiatives

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role, ideally in financial services
  • Strong understanding of data management, especially data quality and remediation
  • Proven success delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget
  • Deep familiarity with regulatory reporting and related compliance requirements
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships at all organizational levels
  • Expertise in project governance and enterprise-level change frameworks
  • Strong leadership capabilities to manage teams and project performance
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior audiences
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in managing projects within a global matrix organization

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with SOX-compliant projects and controls
  • Knowledge of data lineage and transformation practices
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and collaboration with Scrum teams
  • Background in financial risk or finance data programs
