Warsaww-based opportunity with the possibility to work in hybrid model

As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll join our client, a leading investment bank, and play a key role in their Core Engineering group. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable solutions for their Risk Remediation platform. You’ll collaborate with a talented team focused on building innovative solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy within their risk management framework.

Your main responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex web applications using strong Java skills and object-oriented design principles

• Leverage your expertise in web development frameworks like Angular or React to build user-friendly and interactive features
• Integrate back-end functionality using Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate
• Work with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Git experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure platform stability and performance
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Java and web development trends and best practices

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with strong skills in both Java and web development
• Proficiency in object-oriented design principles
• Strong experience with web development frameworks like Angular or React (experience with one or more is preferred)
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring, and Hibernate
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Git
• A working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
• A passion for building high-quality, efficient, and scalable software solutions
