As a Full Stack Developer you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution modernizing its core banking infrastructure. You will be part of the regional EMEA Payments IT team, focused on enhancing the user interface for payment-related services and systems. This project aims to streamline operations by reducing costs and complexity through modern tools and processes, while also improving payment flow efficiency. You will contribute to building and supporting interactive front-end services used internally, while ensuring smooth integration with backend systems.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining UX functionality for payment processing services
• Supporting microservices architecture using Java with Spring Boot and ReactJS
• Collaborating with Business Analysts and Project Managers to implement business requirements
• Using Git, Jenkins, and Maven for continuous integration and code management
• Ensuring seamless interaction between front-end services and backend payment systems
• Enhancing system observability to streamline operational management
• Implementing automated testing frameworks to reduce costs and improve testing efficiency
• Following Agile and DevOps methodologies for continuous delivery
• Supporting cloud and on-premises hosting environments for payment services
• Assisting in reducing operational complexity through interactive tools

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Expertise in ReactJS, Typescript, and Bootstrap for UI development
• Experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot in building scalable services
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and ReSTful APIs
• Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Maven, and other artifact management tools
• Strong understanding of database technologies and SQL
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in UX design for financial or payment systems
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premises hosting solutions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Java 17+ in modernizing legacy systems
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks
• Knowledge of legacy UX technologies such as JSP
• Experience working in a DevOps delivery team
• Understanding of observability patterns and interactive tool development
