Fullstack Java Developer

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on developing and maintaining cutting-edge financial applications. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, creating scalable and highly available solutions to support the growing demands of the financial sector. Your role will involve leveraging the latest technologies, such as Angular and Java, to build and optimize secure and reliable services. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of software development practices while ensuring code quality and performance.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable and high-availability banking applications using Java and Angular

• Design, implement, and optimize microservices architecture
• Integrate frontend and backend solutions using modern frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices in coding and software development
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet evolving business needs
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management
• Automate build and deployment processes using Maven and Gradle
• Participate in agile development processes and team collaboration

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A technical degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
• 3+ years of commercial experience with Angular and Java
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring/SpringBoot
• Experience with Angular 16+ and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.JS
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and its practical application
• Experience with relational databases (non-relational databases are a plus)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts
• Effective communication skills
• Teamwork skills
• Commitment and dedication
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation in English
