As a Global KYC Policy Compliance Officer, you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. You will drive strategic change within the KYC Policy framework, playing a pivotal role in modernizing policies and aligning them with evolving international AML regulations. This role requires expertise in policy assessment, a strong understanding of international AML guidelines, and a proven ability to manage change initiatives across various compliance and operational teams.
Your main responsibilities: Provide expertise in interpreting international AML regulations and KYC guidelines, ensuring compliance with local and global standards
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on regulatory trends to support actionable policy development
- Partner with cross-functional teams in both the first and second lines of defense to drive KYC transformation initiatives, focusing on simplifying and aligning policies to minimize operational redundancies
- Lead efforts to automate the integration of country-specific KYC and AML requirements into a cohesive global framework
- Manage projects and support the roadmap for policy initiatives in alignment with broader KYC transformation strategies
- Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to communicate policy updates, strategic initiatives, and project milestones
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative, risk-based compliance practices
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 7-10 years of experience focused on AML/KYC policy development and transformation within the financial services sector
- Strong research and writing skills with the ability to articulate complex regulatory requirements into clear policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across multiple organizational levels
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with experience in change management
- A legal background and relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS) are highly advantageous
