As a QA/Manual Tester, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution known for its innovative approach to banking technology. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the quality and security of digital services that facilitate seamless, secure, and efficient banking experiences for millions of customers globally. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to define, execute, and manage manual testing processes, contributing to the overall enhancement and reliability of the client’s software products.
Your main responsibilities:
- Defining and executing manual test plans and test cases
- Working with product owners to manage backlogs and define clear, testable acceptance criteria
- Driving and managing testing phases of projects
- Participating in the creation of test strategies and implementation of test plans
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to obtain consensus and drive progress
- Managing scope and ensuring prioritized product backlog aligns with customer priorities
- Maintaining and defining manual test artifacts, metrics, and environment
- Conducting data analysis and presenting trends and outliers using tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Performing initial triage of application log exceptions to manage bugs and tests
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Manual Tester within an agile software development team
- 3+ years of experience in designing manual tests for web applications and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Agile software development and DevSecOps delivery processes
- Competency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge
- Fluent English
- Experience with API development and familiarity with REST and HTTP protocols
- Knowledge of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with QTest/Tricentis tools
- Familiarity with Governance, Risk & Compliance processes
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (SAST, MAST, DAST)
- Knowledge of creating UML diagrams
- Experience using Microsoft SQL
- Proficiency in Gherkin syntax for behavior-driven development
- Background in performance engineering
