As an AI Machine Learning (ML) Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution. Your role involves building production-ready models to extract and classify content from images and text-based sources. You will collaborate with business and transformation teams to design application-specific solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. You will also play a key role in enhancing intelligent document processing capabilities by leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning, and OCR technologies to optimize document processing workflows

Your main responsibilities: Building production-ready models for content extraction and classification

• Working on intelligent document processing using open-source models
• Collaborating with business and transformation teams to formulate application-specific designs
• Developing and integrating Python/ML/OCR-based components
• Testing, iterating, and optimizing existing products and features
• Troubleshooting development and production issues across multiple environments and platforms
• Coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities for application development
• Ensuring seamless deployment of models in Agile/DevOps environments
• Enhancing automation using Jenkins Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• Implementing and optimizing APIs using FastAPI and Tornado

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong expertise in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing
• Experience in Gen AI, Image Processing, Document AI, and OCR technologies
• Proficiency with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Spacy, OpenCV, and Regex
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and Tornado for API development
• Knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Familiarity with RHEL and Ubuntu operating systems
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, shell/Python scripting, and Linux fundamentals
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in multiple environments and operating platforms
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure DevOps
• Basic knowledge of networking and security best practices
