As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution dedicated to enhancing technology compliance through their IT Compliance Engine (ICE) product. This platform provides application teams with a clear view of technology controls, ensuring a transparent control landscape. Your role will involve analyzing the product and technology landscape, documenting requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support the ongoing development and expansion of ICE.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Performing detailed analysis on the ICE product, technology landscape, and associated systems
  • Translating user requests and issues into functional requirements, systems processes, and designs
  • Collaborating closely with the product owner, customers, and the ICE development team
  • Documenting both functional and non-functional requirements, including development tickets with acceptance criteria
  • Modeling business processes and creating flowcharts and data flow diagrams
  • Conducting handovers, presentations, and knowledge transfers to facilitate understanding
  • Analyzing systems and user impacts in partnership with engineers and business stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing improvements through innovative solutions and approaches
  • Communicating ideas and concerns effectively, participating in idea exchanges
  • Developing and maintaining effective networks for collaboration across global teams

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Experience working within global organizations and distributed development teams
  • Ability to capture explicit and implicit requirements and define suitable solutions
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing systems and user impacts
  • Experience documenting functional and non-functional requirements with acceptance criteria
  • Proficiency in business process modeling, flowcharting, and data flow diagramming
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting ideas
  • Proven ability to develop networks and seek collaboration opportunities
  • Experience in contributing to improvements through innovative solutions
  • Familiarity with handovers, presentations, and knowledge transfer processes
  • Ability to work proactively and inquisitively within a team environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with the ICE product or similar technology compliance platforms
  • Background in financial services or related industries
