As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. You will be part of one of the Client’s departments, which ensures data is at the core of all business initiatives. Assigned to an Agile team, you will contribute to one of their key data architecture products, supporting data governance, quality, and lifecycle management. Your role will involve refining product backlogs, analyzing customer journeys, and ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into technical requirements for development teams.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Product Owner in evolving the product roadmap, creating epics, and managing the product backlog
  • Writing and refining user stories to ensure clear and actionable requirements for development teams
  • Conducting analysis of customer journeys and product functionality to improve user experience
  • Defining and tracking key metrics and performance indicators for product success
  • Capturing, analyzing, and documenting business user requirements to drive development initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across different teams and regions to align business needs with data strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with data governance, data quality, and information lifecycle management best practices
  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project alignment
  • Providing insights and recommendations to enhance data-driven decision-making processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Demonstrable experience working on data-related projects, particularly in data governance, data quality, or information lifecycle management
  • At least 3 years of experience in a business analysis role on complex, multi-country or multi-region projects
  • Strong ability to capture, analyze, and document business user requirements effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and product development frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and provide solutions
  • Knowledge of data architecture principles and how they align with business objectives
  • Proficiency in tools used for business analysis, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business and technical teams
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach to documenting processes and defining user requirements

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in Agile projects
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations related to data governance and management
  • Background in working with cloud-based data platforms
